Great way to instive me

It's nerve-racking enough to walk into an orthodontic/dental office in itself, let alone acknowledging it's the beginning of long-term commitment, in which there is essentially no turning back. Previously, I dreaded any form of dental appointments & procedures throughout my entire life. I was always filled with nervousness, panic, and distrust each time I walked through the door, and that uncomfortableness remained until I walked out.

My anxiety waged said war relentlessly, until it surprisingly dissipated upon my experience with HLS Orthodontics. The atmosphere and interactions allowed to feel comfortable from the moment I checked-in for my initial Invisalign consultation, to the receipt of my final nightly retainers. The team and providers expressed genuine care and patience. I felt heard, educated, and validated in any questions I had involving my treatment, which further contributed to the level of trust I had.

As a young adult, I unfortunately did not meet insurance coverage eligibility requirements for braces/Invisalign, thus funding for this journey was entirely out-of-pocket. This added a significant amount of weight on the decision to begin the Invisalign process. I also did not have the opportunity, privilege, or parental socialization of knowledge/support available during childhood, teaching the crucial role dental health played in our overall whole health. Entering adulthood, my subconscious was consistently under attack attempting to rationalize that, "I don't 'straight' teeth, it's not that big of a deal, and they aren't 'that' bad." I, however, knew better. It is much more than the concept of "just having straight teeth"-- it is experiencing an increase in psychological/mental health, and achieving sound mouth health, with healthy, well-taken of teeth.

I am thankful for my extremely positive, welcoming experience(s) with HLS, and their incredible skill level within orthodontics. They truly allowed me to feel comfortable & confident in my decision to invest in dental health. It was/is WORTH it. I do love my smile for the first time in my life, and I love the habitual hygiene habits I have gained. I'm honestly unsure if the results would have been the same if I were a patient elsewhere. There is such a level of pride for their craft, it directly reflects on the treatment quality, success, and patient experience.

My daughter loves HLS. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We never have problems making appointments or getting information. Very clean facility.

Went for our first visit yesterday. Staff was wonderful! We go back for braces next month!
