HLH Orthodontics Review

Going to the orthodontist used to make me a little nervous, but not so much anymore! Everyone at HLS is so nice. My mom takes me to the Maumee office. The doctors and assistants always smile and talk to me like I’m important, not just to my mom. That makes me feel really comfortable and not scared at all.

Before they do anything, they explain it to me in words I can understand. Like, they showed the wire and coil before they put them in, and explained why they were using it and what it would feel like so I wasn’t surprised or confused. They also always ask me if I have any questions, which is cool because they treat me like I can make my own choices too.

They’re gentle and kind, and they even remember my name and the things I like to talk about. I never feel rushed or ignored. I actually kind of like going now, which I never thought I’d say about the dentist!

If you’re a kid who has to get braces or anything like that, I think you’d really like this office too. 😊
